MINSHIFT (takeaways)

  1. To all the siblings of individuals with autism, you are not being pushed to the side.
  2. If you feel like you are being pushed to the side don't be afraid to speak up and let your parents know that you feel like you are not getting enough attention.
  3. Remember that your parents don't have any favorites your sibling just needs more guidance and a little more help.
  4. You are not any less of a kid or sibling.
  5. Respect everyone you meet and accept people as they are.
